PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus capable of knowing by itself in what state a sheet to be printed is before image formation to suppress an increase in man-hour and also suppressing an increase in cost.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus 1 comprises: a document tray 11 where a document D is placed; a document image scanner 13 for reading image information of the document D placed on the document tray 11; image formation parts 10Y, 10M, 10C, and 10K for image formation on a sheet P; conveyance paths 14, 16 and 19 for conveying the sheet P to the image formation parts 10Y, 10M, 10C and 10K when the sheet P is placed on the document tray 11; and a control part 3 for reading information of the sheet P by operating the document image scanner 13 in the process of conveying the sheet P to the conveyance paths 14, 16 and 19, determining the quality of the sheet P based upon the read sheet information, and then performing an operation corresponding to the quantity of the sheet P before the sheet P reaches the image formation parts 10Y, 10M, 10C and 10K.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
