摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To return a signal at a repeating point with fidelity by eliminating the use of an artificial line network, etc., by providing a returning circuit between a discriminating circuit, and a regenerating circuit of a repeater. CONSTITUTION:Switch circuit 14 consisting of gate circuits is connected between discriminating circuits 12a and 12b and regenerating circuits 15a and 15b. In circuit 12a, an equalized waveform signal to be discriminated is inputted to terminal A1 and a clock signal determining a discrimination point in time is also inputted to terminal A2 to discriminate the existence of a pulse, generating output signal (a). When a high-level control signal is applied to circuit 14, outputs (d) and (e) of circuit 14 appear at input sides of circuits 15a and 15b. Output (a) of circuit 12a is applied to the input side of circuit 15a, and output (b) of circuit 12b to the input side of circuit 15b. The application of a low-level control signal to circuit 14, therefore, results in that inputs (a) and (b) to circuit 14 appear at input sides of circuits 15a and 15b as outputs (e) and (d) respectively.</p>
