The present invention provides a method for preparing a manganese-doped electrode, which comprises the steps of: forming a titanium oxide layer on a titanium substrate by anodizing the titanium substrate in a mixed solution (a first step); and infiltrating manganese ions into the titanium oxide layer by immerging the titanium substrate, on which the titanium oxide layer has been formed, into an electrolyte in which 0.001-0.02 M KMnO_4 has been dissolved, and applying an electric shock (a second step). Accordingly, a separate process of applying a catalyst by using a metal precursor in order to increase activity of an electrode is not required, and the titanium oxide layer of the titanium substrate can be uniformly and deeply doped with anions of a metal oxide. When the electrode uniformly doped with metal anions is used as an oxygen generation electrode, the electrode exhibits a low onset potential, and exhibits considerably high efficiency in an oxygen reduction reaction. |
