PURPOSE:To enable to reproduce sound and picture by using an audio magnetic tape, by recording or reproducing an audio signal on or from one channel of the magnetic tape while picture information, etc., made into a digital signal, to or from the other channel. CONSTITUTION:An audio signal recorded on one channel of magnetic tape 1 is read by fixed magnetic reproducing head 12, reproduced by audio signal processing circuit 13, and outputted to speaker 22. Picture information, display control data and color display data recorded on the other channel of magnetic tape 1 are read by fixed magnetic reproducing head 14 and reproduced and discriminated by data processing circuit 16. Then, the picture information from data processing circuit 16 is stored in display memory 17 and write address circuit 18 controlled by the display control data determines the address of a display position. Further, background color control circuit 19 is controlled by the color display data to control the coloring of the background, which is displayed on display part 23. |
