Dewaxing filter controlling system and method for separating wax from a dewaxed oil-solvent-wax mixt. was effected by maintaining the wash ratio (the ratio of solvent by mixt. quantities fed to filter) to predetermined valve, inwhich each dewaxing filter made oils penetrate through the wax-intercepting filter. The wash ratio for the filter was measured by the sensor which controls a regulator and the filtered mixt. supply amt. was controlled by the relation of dewaxing filter filtrating velocity.
