Apparatus designed for cutting off flexible pipes (G) and inserting one or more filiform elements (E1, E2, E3, E4...) in these pipes, of the type including driving means and cutting off means of the flexible pipe, a mechanized inserting means for the filiform element(s) into the pipe, and measuring and checking means for the cut-off lengths, wherein each flexible sheath or pipe (G) cut off from a drum (T) or by a mechanical storing and feeding device, is held at its ends by two collet type clamping means (37), one of them arranged right behind the cutting means (C), and the other one close to the mechanized inserting means of the filiform element(s), after having spread out according to a natural curve and following one or more turns, on a guide and rest plane (21) ; the inserting means of the filiform element(s), of cable type (28) with fastening head (28a) of the thread(s), is positively driven and guided in both directions by a rotary drum (29) and a counterweight type device (27).
