<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of hardware by storing a color composite picture signal in a temporary memory, by reading it out at a low speed and separating into a luminance signal and chrominance signal, and by compressing their bands respectively. CONSTITUTION:A digitized composite color picture signal stored successively in temporary NTSC memory 31. The picture signal read out of NTSC memory 31 at a low speed is separated by Y/C separating circuit 32 into a luminance signal and chrominance signal, which are supplied to DPCM coders 33a and 33b for DPCM code compression. Then, the outputs are sent out from multiplexer 17 via modem 18.</p> |
