The present invention provides a maglev elevator, to magnetically levitate an elevator on a rail only during service and settle the opposite side to a protruding groove, not a coil part of an electric magnet, on the rail in the case of non-service for a long time by using only the attraction force of an electric magnet, so as to prevent damage of an electric structure and largely save energy. Moreover, having a both-end supporting structure placing a load between support points, the maglev elevator is stable against external changes such as earthquake, the whole structure is safe, and power consumption is stable due to the small current change of the electric magnet by such a stable dynamic structure. Also, an elevator car is operated in a complete non-contact mode precisely with respect to the rail by applying a lower maglev structure to a guide shoe, so an excellent ride quality is provided. The maglev elevator comprises: an elevator car (100) having an electric magnet guide shoe on the upper and lower outer circumferential surface to levitate the elevator car, and placing an electric magnet-attached drum to lift/lower the elevator car in a lower part; a rail (300) installed in both sides of the elevator car to guide the elevator car when the elevator car is lifted or lowered; and the electric magnet-attached drum (500) placed in the lower part of the elevator car to lift/lower the elevator car. |
