<p>BAR GRAPH DISPLAY FOR STOVE The present invention relates to a cook-top bar graph display for indicating heat. The display is comprised of a burner coil adapted to be energized to provide heat and a source of electrical signals for applying electrical energy to energize the coil. A control unit is provided for raising and lowering the electrical energy applied to the coil from the source. A bar graph is provided which is responsive to the control unit for displaying a bar having a length which is representative of the electrical energy applied to the coil. Circuitry is associated with the control unit for causing the bar graph to be increased in length at a faster rate than the bar graph is decreased in length to facilitate accurate setting of the heat level of the burner coil.</p> |
