<p>INDUCTION COOK-TOP SYSTEM The present invention relates to a touch control system for an induction cooking coil. The system is comprised of an induction cooking coil and a unit for electrically energizing the coil. A first touch control pad is provided for being touched to increase the output of the energizing unit to raise the heating level of the coil. A second touch control pad is provided for being touched to decrease the output of the energizing unit to lower the heating level of the coil. An unlock touch control pad is provided. Finally, circuitry is provided for inhibiting the operation of the first and second touch control pads until the unlock touch control pad is touched for a predetermined time period.</p> |
