PURPOSE:To facilitate the testing to discriminate an article of faulty quality of the motor by a method wherein the distribution of magnetic flux of the stator of an excellent article is measured and is stored as the reference distribution of magnetic flux, and the stored value is compared with the measured value of the distribution of magnetic flux of a stator to be measured. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic detector 6 having a magnetic flux detecting element 10 like Hall element, etc., is inserted in the inner circumferential side of the stator 7 of the excellent article to measure the distribution of magnetic flux, and the measured value is converted by an A/D converter 12 into a digital quantity to be stored in a memory 15. The same magnetic detector 6 is inserted in the inner circumferential side of the stator to be tested to measure the distribution of magnetic flux, and the difference between the previously stored value is calculated. When the error thereof is larger than the prescribed value set in an error setting a apparatus 18, the faulty point is made to be indicated by an faulty point indicator 20. Accordingly the testing of faulty article can be performed easily as compared with the measuring method of absolute value of the distribution of magnetic flux. |
