PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile external steering device needing no center alignment with respect to a steering wheel and easily attachable to an automobile.SOLUTION: An external steering device 1 steers a steering wheel 81 of an automobile 8 in the floating state of the steering wheel from the outside of the automobile 8. The external steering device 1 includes a wheel attaching part 21 attached to the steering wheel 81 of the automobile 8, a headrest attaching part 22 attached to a headrest support part 83 in a seat 82 of the automobile 8, arm parts 31, 32, and 33 for connecting the headrest attaching part 22 and the wheel attaching part 21 to each other, universal joints 41 and 42 provided in the connection parts of the arm parts 31, 32, and 33, and a motor 5 capable of rotating the wheel attaching part 21 left and right.
