PURPOSE:To enable a cleaning unit to be mounted and dismounted without damaging a photoreceptor by providing a rotating lever which is disengaged when a cleaning blade has sufficiently spaced from the surface of a photoreceptor. CONSTITUTION:A turning lever 38 is mounted to the rotating axial center 20 of a cleaning plate 19. While the plate 19 is in contact with a photoreceptor 1, the leading end of the lever 38 engages with the notch part 39 of a guide rail 33 and a cleaning unit 40 will not pull of from the rail 33. To pull the unit 40 off, the operator manually rotates the lever 38 to disengage the same from the notched part 39, thence he pulls out the unit 40 along the rail 33. Thence, the unit is removed without damaging the photoreceptor 1 because the plate 19 has spaced sufficiently from the surface of the photoreceptor 1. The same holds true at the mounting of the unit 40. |
