PURPOSE:To prevent staining of copied images and prevent paper clogging by providing a duct reaching the front part of paper feed rollers from the side wall of the body and sending external air to the front of the paper discharge rollers. CONSTITUTION:A duct 46 reaching the front of paper discharge rollers 42 from the side wall of a body 27 is provided above the conveying path 43 for copying paper 40, and a fan 47 is installed thereto, whereby a cooling device 48 is constituted. With this constitution, the copying paper 40 is blown by external air by the rotation of the fan 47 of the device 48 above the path 43, and is rapidly cooled before it reaches the rollers 42, so that a toner image 41 is cohered to the copying paper 40. Thereby, the sticking of the molten toner on the rollers 42 is obviated, hence the staining of the copied image is prevented and paper clogging is prevented as well. |
