PURPOSE:To form a two-dimensional heat-sensitive recording head capable of clear heat-sensitive printing in a short period of time by a method wherein a pair of comb-shaped electrodes are combined so as not to overlap with each other to constitute an electrode plane, and resistors forming a two-dimensional pattern are provided thereon. CONSTITUTION:On a ceramic substrate, a comb-shaped electrode 11 to be on the high-voltage side and a comb-shaped electrode 12 to be on the low-voltage side are arranged so that their comb tooth parts mesh with each other but do not overlap with each other to form an electrode plane. Thereon, resistors 13 forming a two- dimensional pattern (a character desired to print, e.g., ''figured pattern'') are placed and electrically connected to said electrodes to obtain a two-dimensional heat- sensitive recording head. |
