PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal shrinkage tube with high efficiency, by cutting blank tube formed by a tubular orientation with a sealed part formed in the radius direction so that the sealed part becomes the head part and smoothing the sealed part. CONSTITUTION:The blank tube 2 is formed by extruding melted synthetic resin from a circular die 1. The blank tube 2 is press-welded by a sealer 3 so that sealed parts 4 are formed with a set intervals with unsealed parts 6. This is then transferred in the arrowed direction A' while being pressed between a nip roll 7. While gases are injected in the arrowed direction (a) the tube 2 is heated by a heater 8 at a temperature lower than the pour point ane higher than the softening point of the resin and orientated in the radius direction. After the tube is cooled and hardened while controlled to a set diameter by a cooling jacket 9, it is cut in the radius direction at the position designated by the arrowed marks B, C, D. Then after the cut tube 11' is fixed to a preform die 12 and fitted to the die 12 by heating and shrinking, the cut sealed part 4' is pressed by a heating plate 13 to smooth, and the thermal shrinkage tube with a head part can be obtained. |
