PURPOSE:To prevent intaking of bubbles into the ink-tube and enable stable printing by providing a vibration eleminating device between the nozzle and the ink- tube, in an ink-jet type printer adopting impulse-pump system. CONSTITUTION:An ink 7 is supplied from a ink storage 5 to pressure chamber 3 of the ink-jet head 2 through ink-tube 6. The supplied ink is prevented from flowing out of the top end of nozzle 2 by surface tension. Vibration eliminating device 8 with filling material 9 (e.g. metal mesh filter with sufficiently larger sound impedance than that of the ink 7) is set between nozzle 2 and ink-tube 6 of the printer which works by injecting ink particles from the top end of nozzle 2 by pressure pulse of electric-mechanic converter 4 operated based upon the printing informations. |
