PURPOSE:The condensation reaction between a phenolic compound bearing alkylamino pgroups substituted with methylenephosphoric acid groups and an aldehyde gives a chelate resin showing high selective adsorptivity to uranium. CONSTITUTION:A compound bearing phenolic hydroxyls and primary alkylamino groups of formula I or II (n is 1-20) such as tyramine or tyrosine or another compound having phenolic hydroxyls and secondary alkylamino groups of formula III (n, m are 1-20) such as 4,4'-dihydroxybenzylamine is made to react with phosphorous acid and an aldehyde such as formaldehyde in the presence of a mineral acid such as sulfuric acid at 80-120 deg.C. Then, the reaction product is subjected to the condensation reaction with a phenolic compound such as cresol and an aldehyde in the presence of a mineral acid, preferably at 50-130 deg.C in a dispersion system to produce the objective resin beads.
|
