PURPOSE:To obtain a coating excellent in impact resistance, bending resistance, abrasion resistance and coldness resistance and cured in a short time by coating an elastic polyurethane zinc rich primer and an elastic polyurethane top coat paint entirely free from a solvent successively. CONSTITUTION:In order to enhance corrosion resistance of a steel structure installed in a severe corrosive environment, the heavy corrosion proofness painting is carried out by subrequest processes (1) and (2). In the process (1), the primer consisting of a main agent (A) containing a straight chain type polyether polyol of which a hydroxy content is 6-9% and a viscosity at 20 deg.C is 500-1,500cps in a solvent free condition, a curing agent (B) comprising a diphenylmethane diisocyanate type polyisocyanate of which an isocyanate content is 20-30% and a viscosity at 20 deg.C is 50-200cps in a solvent free condition and a metal zinc (alloy) powder is used. In the process (2), a top coat paint containing the aforementioned (A) and (B) components and entirely free from a solvent is used. A practical example compound is described blow. |
