<p>A method of spinning fibres to form a yarn wherein the fibres are condensed in an internal groove and a rotating annular member and the condensed fibres are peeled from the groove and passed between two surfaces of rotation co-axial with the annular member and rotating at different speeds so that the assembly of fibres peeled from the groove is caused to roll on its axis between the two surfaces of revolution as the assembly of fibres pass in an axial direction therebetween so that the fibres are twisted to form a yarn.</p> |
