PURPOSE:To keep it at a minimum that a fault extends over the whole system, by positively detecting a stack of a signal line, separating a faulty unit sending out a stack signal, in a short time, and localizing a fault. CONSTITUTION:When a fault is informed to the data processor 10, fault extension preventive devices 30-33 are activated promptly by the data processor 10. The fault extension preventive devices 30-33 are operated, and when a stack state of a signal line has been detected, a command is sent out to the signal line controlling circuits (SCE) 20-23, and the signal line is cut off. Also, since a stack state of a signal line is detected and the signal line is cut off, the external equipment is reset, also a correct answer data in case when the signal line information has been read from the external equipment is stored in the register, and after that, the signal which has been read is compared with the contents of the register. In case when the result of comparison does not coincide, it is regarded as a signal line stack, and the signal line concerned is separated. |
