PURPOSE:To arrange so that a high-level positioning may be made under a simple circuit configuration by using a two-element triac and reducing the speed of an electric motor or braking it through the utilization of reversed rotation acceleration or forward rotation acceleration. CONSTITUTION:An output from an operation mode setter 9 is supplied to a comparator 11 and a controller 13 through the intermediary of an interface 10. In addition, the comparator 11 compares a tachometer signal from a tachometer generator 3 installed on an electric motor 1 with a set signal, supplying the signal to a controller 13. The controller 12 compares the set signal with the signal from the comparator 11, identifying a signal for forward rotation acceleration and a signal for reversed rotation acceleration. Then the controller transmits either of the identified signl to a drive circuit 14, 15, controlling Triac1, Triac2. Consequently, it is possible to carry out moderation braking by reversed rotation acceleration during a forward rotation operation and moderation braking by forward rotation acceleration a reversed rotation operation. Thus a high positioning precision can be obtained at lost cost. |
