<p>PURPOSE:To shorten a call setting time by composing a call requesting bucket of a first field where an opponent terminal number is set, a second field where an own terminal number is set and a third field where the other network terminal number is set. CONSTITUTION:In the case of a call setting from a terminal DTE-A received by a packet network PSDN-A through a connecting device G/W between networks to a terminal DTE-B received by a packet network PSDN-E, the DTE-A sets the terminal number of the G/W to a call requesting packet CR as an own terminal number and an opponent terminal number and transmits it to the PSDN-A. In the PSDN-A, this CR is transmitted to the G/W. By the G/W, the terminal number of the DTE-B in a user data field is set to the opponent terminal number of the CR, the terminal number of an own terminal number field is set to the other network terminal number field in the user data field of the CR, a terminal number to the PSDN-B of the G/W is set to the own terminal number field respectively, they are transmitted to the PSDN-B and the PSDN-B transmits the CR to the DTE-B.</p> |
