PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a setting value correction device of an internal combustion engine that corrects a setting value of sulfur concentration in fuel by a novel method.SOLUTION: A setting value correction device has a function of: calculating an actual PM oxidation speed from a change speed of differential pressure before and after a PM filter (S103, S104); estimating a PM oxidation speed at the time of change speed calculation in a case where sulfur concentration in fuel is a setting value, by utilizing correspondence between the PM oxidation speed and the sulfur concentration in fuel (S103, S105); and executing correction according to the speed difference between the calculated and estimated oxidation speeds, with respect to the setting value of concentration in fuel (S106, S107).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
