PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of user's easily opening/closing even a large-sized drawer type door, fully closing the drawer type door even when the user stops pushing a handle of the drawer type door before fully closing the drawer type door, improving operability, and ensuring user-friendliness.SOLUTION: A refrigerator 1 comprises an article-accommodation-section drive mechanism part 40 assisting an article accommodation section 21 in moving in accordance with an open/close moving operation on a drawer type door 9, this drive mechanism part 40 includes a motor 41; a torque sensor 43 that detects a torque acting in accordance with the open/close moving operation on the drawer type door 9 and generates a torque detection output; and a control unit 100 that generates a motor assist amount for assisting in the open/close moving operation on the drawer type door 9 from the motor 41 in response to the torque detection output of the torque sensor 43, and this control unit 100 controls the motor 41 to rotate to automatically, fully close the drawer type door 9 when the drawer type door 9 is closed up to a certain distance during an operation for closing the drawer type door 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
