PURPOSE:To enable the circulating regeneration test to be performed under the condition the operating state is simulated by forming a differential mechanism by sprockets and the like which are combined to sheaves so as to form one body with a chain and the like and by sprockets which can be freely moved by an air cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The sprockets 3 and 4 which are combined with the sheaves 1 and 2 around which the rope under test is endlessly wound so as to form one body, the idle sprockets 24, and the movable sprockets 22 and 21 which can be freely moved by the air cylinder 17 are combined by the chain 23, thereby forming the differential mechanism. When the sprockets 21 and 22 are moved by the cylinder 17, the tension transmitted by the sheaves 1 and 2 varies linearly. As a result, the life of the rope which is circulated and regenerated by the sheaves 1 and 2 can be tested under the condition the operating state can be simulated freely. |
