PURPOSE:To make feasible the pressure insertion and welding operation of an armature coil in a brief period of time by arranging coil lead parts in such manner that they may mutually cross each other, embedding one lead part into the external periphery of an annular resin body and fastening the both lead parts through ultrasonic welding means. CONSTITUTION:A lead part 41A at the lower lead side of an armature coil 4 is set longer in length than a lead part 51B at the upper lead side of a coil 5 and also at the external periphery of an annular resin body 6 of a commutator, each groove 6a into which the lower lead part 41A can be pressure-inserted, is formed. At the same time, only the lower lead part 41A is twisted at 90 deg. by a prearranged length from the nose to form a segment part 40 for a commutator. This segment part 40 is pressure-inserted into the groove 6a of the annular resin body 6 using an ultrasonic pressure-insertion method. The lead part 51B and the segment part 40 are welded together into a single formation with the assistance of an ultrasonic welding device. Under this method, it is possible to carry out a pressure insertion and a welding operation in a brief period of time and with ease. |
