Various wires are unwound from reels aligned on either side of a drum on which the flexible sheath is stored. The sheath is advanced by a motor-driven pulley over guide rollers and stretched in accordance with its natural curvature in one or more turns on a guiding table. The ends of each length of sheath are held by grips one immediately behind the cutter and the other near the device for introducing the wires. A cleat is traversed by a cable with a head perforated for attachment of wires to be threaded through the sheath. The cable is wound on a drum with a helical guide and counterweight for positive control and guidance in both directions. The pulley and rollers are mounted on a subsidiary base which swings aside to disengage the end of the conduit after cutting.
