PURPOSE:To prevent a damage of an engine by delaying an ignition timing of a magnet-aided ignition device at an overload running of an engine by means of a capacitor which is charged by an inverse electromotive force of a primary winding. CONSTITUTION:When an engine r.p.m. rises up to an overload level, an inverse voltage of a primary winding T1 is built up to a voltage which is governd by a potential dividing resistance Rp, a temperature corrective resistance RT or the like, thereby conducting a thyristor TY. The inverse voltage of the primary winding T1 flows through a diode Ds and the thyristor TY to charge the capacitor CL. An ignition timing is delayed as long as the capacitor CL is discharged from the registance RL, RO and RM. The ignition lag provided at an overload running of the engine may prevent its damage. |
