PURPOSE:To enable image formation to be restarted soon after repairing of trouble or the like, by maintaining power supply for the heater of a heat fixing device using means other than a main circuit. CONSTITUTION:The proposed device is provided with front door 1' of image forming main device 1, switch 32, i.e. the first switching means to be turned on and off with this door 1', front door 22' of heat fixing device 19, and switch 33, i.e., the second switching means to be turned on and off with this door 22'. Power supply for at least one part of the heater for device 19 can be made by the second switching means not through the first switching means. Power supply to the main units for image formation other than said part in main device 1 is carried out via the first switching means. |
