PURPOSE:To increase electric insulation and mechanical strength as well as improve the strength of armature against excess rotation by providing an insulation annulus which is fitted into the external periphery of a coil lead part and fixing the insulation annulus into a clearance between the lead parts through the filling of pulverized high polymer resin. CONSTITUTION:A tip 22 is fixed to a horn 21 and the lead part 11a of an armature coil is vibrated with an ultrasonic wave to be electrically an mechanically connected to a segment 10. An insulation annulus 23 having a fan-shaped opening is fitted on the external periphery of the lead part 11a of coil. This insulation annulus 23 is made of cold-rolled steel, and on the internal periphery of a ring 23a fabricated through deep drawing or roll processing, a coating 23b of pulverized high polymer resin is attached to insulate the ring 23a from the coil 11. Pulverized high polymer resin body 24 is filled in a clearance between the insulation annulus 23 and the lead part 11a or the commutator 7. Under this constitution, it is possible to obtain an armature having high electric insulation and mechanical strength as well as having high reliability. |
