<p>The packaging system for shoes consists of a flat sheet or board (1) of cardboard, leather, plastics or other suitable material with two pockets (2) arranged side by side. The shoes are placed toes downwards in the pockets and can be hung up for display by holes (3) in the top corners of the sheet. A handle (12) is formed integrally with the sheet for the convenience of the purchaser. A transparent box (7) can be used to cover the shoes. Slots (9) in the base receive tags (8) projecting from the edge of the sheet. Holes (11) in the ends of the flange (10) projecting from the top of the box fit over the hooks which pass through the holes in the sheet. This type of packaging facilitates storage and display in the shop and can afterwards be used by the purchaser.</p> |
