The mast positioner consists of a slide (3) which is screwed into the inserts (1) by bolts (9) and nuts (2). The slide is fitted with a central plug (5) which screws into the central plate (4). The plug has a flange which holds the fixing plate (6) into position on the slide. The mast is hinged to a bracket (7a) which is screwed into the middle of the central plug (5). The same system may be applied to moving the centre plate below the deck.
