PURPOSE:To correctly judge the state of the heat resistance at the bonded part by applying a voltage on a glass layer between the bonded members in the bonded body thereby applying a thermal shock. CONSTITUTION:In the inspection of the bonded body which is bonded by glass, with the glass layer 3 being located between the bonded members 1 and 2 such as metal tubes, and the like, the voltage is applied between the bonded members 1 and 2 by adjusting an autotransformer 6, and a current is conducted at the bonded part 4. Said voltage and current are measured by a voltmeter 10 and an ammeter 9. While the range of the electric resistance is obtained under the good bonding state beforehand, the rlationship between the measured voltage and current is computed and the result is checked whether it is in the reference range or not, thereby the bonding strength can be judged. If the voltage to be applied is increased, the current changes as shown by a curve A. If bubbles are present in the glass layer 3, or the thicknesses are uneven, the irregular change can be observed as shown by a curve B, and the presence of the detects can be judged. |
