Parent patent described an appts. consisting of a measuring chamber and a reference chamber, each contg. a radioactive source. In this addn. the two chambers are located on opposite sides of a common support made of an insulating material. Two bars are fixed in the support and project into both chambers. In each chamber, the bars are used to carry an electrode, which also forms a partition. Each side of the common support is pref. provided with a metal plate fixed by rivets, and on which the radioactive sources are mounted. Simplification of the device described in the main patent is achieved.
