The refrigerated lorry is worked from the vehicle hydraulics and has refrigerant weighing apparatus, blow circulation of the refrigerant and an external ventilator. The refrigerant circulates below the vehicle carrying shelves from a store which is housed at the rear of the vehicle. The scales mechanism has its chassis mounted on the vehicle chassis and contains a number of cells interposed between the chassis and the vehicle to gauge the change of weight of the refrigerator on the shelf.
