GOVERNOR-TYPE RESOURCES-SAVING STARTING DEVICE FOR SINGLE-PHASE INDUCTION ELECTRIC MOTOR

PURPOSE:To provide a simple and compact constitution by designing so that a powerful thrust may be generated by spiral motive force push-up action with the rotation of an eccentric rotor at time of power supply connection and resultantly maintaining the powerful contact pressure of a switch. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 6 which is eccentrically formed by providing half parts 6 which have mutually different weights from the other is upheld vertically on a shaft 4 installed on a rotary support table 3 in such manner that it may be connected to the shaft 15 of an electric motor, with the help of a return spring 5 attached on the shaft 4. In addition, the said rotor is also attached in such manner that it may automatically be displaced to a horizontal position by a centrifugal force at time of motor rotation. Further it is so constituted that it may be caused to set itself closely to a plunger in a switching feature for switching the circuit of a starting coil for an electric motor. Thus a powerful contact pressure can be obtained as a result of spiral motive force effect and at the same time, the device can be miniaturized.
