<p>The combination of pinion carriers, support legs and flexible balancers is for a car lift platform foot. It has a double opposed rack and one pinion per foot. Each pinion carrier has 4 pinions, 2 for each rack, and is joined to the platform by two support legs pivoted together at their ends. The support legs are in the middle of the rack teeth and joined to the platform by a swivel handle crank. One side of this is fixed to a torsion bar in bearings fixed to the platform by an arm and ram.</p> |
