OIL COLLECTOR FROM WATER SURFACE

A equipment for disposing of contaminating matter floating in a fluid is described. A recovery-separation tank(2) is used with an inner water surface lower than that of the outside. The floating matter(A) such as oil floating on the surface of water outside the tank(2) is drawn in through an inlet(6) of the tank. The floating matter and the water are separated into layers which flow into the tank and a drain pump(5) discharges the water collecting in the lower portion of the tank.
