Disclosed is a method for updating an integrity verification value stored in a hardware secure module. The method comprises: a step of registering a user of a terminal in advance by storing user authentication information of the terminal received from the terminal; a step of delivering an authentication information request message for requesting the user authentication information to the terminal in response to an update request message including an update value of the integrity verification value from the terminal; a step of performing an authentication process regarding the user of the terminal by comparing the user authentication information received from the terminal according to the authentication information request message with the user authentication information stored in the advance registration; and a step of updating the stored integrity verification value as an updated value.
