The tyre rim (27) has a rim base edge component (38) and a securing ring (37). The rim base edge component (38) has at the side a conical surface (39) which engages during the mounting of the tyre rim (21) on the wheel rim (25) with outwardly directed, conical wheel rim surfaces (230) on the wheel rim (25). The rim base edge component (38) also bears radially extending clamping shoulders (45) which engage during mounting with radially extending wheel rim surfaces (231) of the wheel body (220). The rim base edge component (36) and the clamping shoulders (45) are elastically deformable on the wheel rim (25) in order to obtain full surface contact (46a, 231) and firm fit (39, 230) of the tyre rim (21; 37, 38) on the wheel rim (25) of the vehicle wheel. <IMAGE>
