The speed control produces a signal describing the speed of the engine and passes it to a logic circuit that controls the increase in no-load speed. A disabling device prevents the speed signal reaching the logic circuit once the engine has warmed up. The disabling device may be a switch or relay with a timing circuit and operated by the accelerator pedal. The logic circuit is connected to a device for setting no-load.
