PURPOSE:To operate brakes of both systems by a braking command of one system for connecting cars with braking devices of different kinds of braking command systems by translating the braking command mutually between both systems. CONSTITUTION:When controller 8 of an electrically-commanded car 2 is operated to issue an emergency braking command, a thick line circuit is opened to erase the magnetism of electromagnetic valves 13 and 13', and an emergency braking is given to cars 2 and 2'. Simultaneously, the magnetism of an electromagnetic valve 18 of an emergency braking command translator 15 is erased via a thick line 20, and an emergency discharge valve 19 is opened to reduce the pressure in a brake pipe 14 for emergency. Then, an emergency braking is given to a pneumatically-commanded car 1 via a connecting part 7 and a brake pipe 5. For releasing the emergency braking, when a releasing command is given to the controller 8 to excite the electromagnetic valve 18 and close a valve 19, the pressure in the brake pipe 5 is gradually increased, and the brake of the pneumatically-commanded car 1 is released. Simultaneously, the pressure in the brake pipe 14 is increased to closed a pressure switch 17, and the electromagnetic valve 13 is excited to release the emergency braking. |
