A magnetic tape cassette holder includes a facility for storing an information log book. The housing is split into two main compartments (1,2); one for the magnetic tape cassette (1) and the other for the log book. The base is formed by a bottom plate (3) with side walls (5,6) and a front plate (7). Spigots (4) provide a location for the capstans of the magnetic tape cassette. The top compartment is formed by an open box section consisting of top and bottom covers and side walls. Hinge members (9,10) secure the top compartment to the base. When the unit is closed the front plate (7) seals both compartments.
