<p>A base has a central lamp socket and terminals, a holder ring covering the insertion aperture, and ribs joining the ring to the base. A reflector is inserted between ring and base. The ribs extend from the ring initially parallel to the axis and then towards the base at an acute angle to the axis. The inclined portions of the ribs form guides for clamping ribs of, at the most, the same length, sliding in the direction of these portions and lockable in any desired position. In the retracted end position they are behind the cylinder surface defined by the axial portions of the ribs, while when extended they form straight extensions of the inclined portions. The inclined rib portions have sawtooth-shaped catches, and mating catches are formed on the ends of the clamping ribs towards the base.</p> |
