Prodn. of grinding, - cutting, separating and polishing discs or tips comprises cold-mixing a binder and an abrasive, forming and hardening. Pref binders are polyesters, esp. unsaturated polyesters. The discs or tips are used esp. in dentistry, e.g. for working prostheses. The compsns. can be cold-hardened. Polyester binders are easily handled, cold-formed, cheap and cause no smell on laboratory working.
