<p>PURPOSE:To provide a filler for asphalts, which exhibits stability and residual stability, by adding slaked lime, cement, etc. to a powdered coal ash. CONSTITUTION:5pts.wt. At least one member selected from slaked lime, cement, quick lime powder and limestone powder is mixed with 95pts.wt. powdered coal ash to obtain the desired filler. 4-8pts.wt. said filler and 5-7pts.wt. asphalt are mixed with 100pts.wt. aggregate to form an asphalt composite material. A filler obtd. by mixing said coal ash with limestone powder in a ratio of 3:7-1:1, is suitable for use in the production of an asphalt composite material having a low flow value.</p> |
