<p>PURPOSE:To drastically miniaturize the titled device as handy to carry about or to be stored by constituting a cassette holder of the magnetic recording and reproducing device to be capable of being efficiently housed into the device at the time of non-operation. CONSTITUTION:The cassette holder 2 is moved on a chassis 17 toward a rotary cylinder 6 at the time of non-operation (at the time of carrying or storing the device) to be disposed in the vicinity of an upper surface or a lower surface or a side surface of the rotary cylinder 6. Then, at the time of recording and reproducing (at the time of operation), the cassette holder 2 is constituted to be drawn, and moreover, it is descended or ascended or rotated, so that a cassette 1 is disposed at the rotary cylinder 6 side surface (in the normal position). By this method, the miniaturization of the device at the time of non-operation can thus be carried out.</p> |
