<p>PURPOSE:To form good-looking embossed pattern and make it possible to continuously produce board and consequently enhance the productivity of the board by a method wherein constant tension is applied to a coil during embossing and at the same time residual strain is removed. CONSTITUTION:The production equipment concerned consists of the following sections and units of an embossing section 8, in which embossed pattern is applied to surface material fed from a surface material feeding section 2, a separator 15, which cuts the processed surface material into (n) equal parts in order to form the surface material slitted into (n) equal parts in (n) series, discharging section 27, which discharges solid expandable reactive mixture in the recessed parts formed on the surface material, a rear surface material feeding section 31, in which rear surface material is laminated onto the expandable reactive mixture so as to harden the expandable reactive mixture by heating the above-mentioned materials put in certain controlled shapes, a curing oven, which bonds the three materials one another into an integral body, a travelling cutter 42, which cuts off fed continuous composite sandwich board in lengths, and a box folding section 44, in which the surface materials at both longitudinal ends of the composite board cut in lengths are bent inwards.</p> |
