<p>The process for cladding cavities under the ground is esp. applicable to tunnels for waste water collectors. Use is made of a load bearing plastic shell (1) built into the cavity. This can be in the form of a tube, or assembled from one or more segments (6,8). Its walling may be fitted with hollow units, or multi-layered. Additional materials, such as steel, wood, stone or glass fibre may be incorporated. It can be used in conjunction with shield driving or pressing machines.</p> |
